The Role:
The HR Specialist is part of the HR Services team which is part of the HRM department. You report to the Manager HR Services.
HR Services is within the HRM department responsible for Payroll, Information and administration, Recruitment and Compensation & Benefits.
Responsibilities
* Initiate, plans, execute and check the Payroll process for dedicated accounts with accurate, correct, useful, timely and consistent results
* Inputs payroll and personnel administration actions in SAP including new hires, changes, benefits, personal information
* Prepares and runs pay-run related reports
* Prepares and distributes pay advices for employees of dedicated accounts;
* Maintains and updates all controls and audits used to balance and reconcile payroll operations
* Sorts, copies and files payroll notices and pay reports, contracts and other documents for personnel files;
* Supports Human Resources department with payroll-related and administration matters
* Liaises with outside agencies to provide and receive information related to, and to follow-up on payroll.
* Coordinate with third-party payroll service provider to ensure compliance with payroll processing and payroll tax reporting
* Give information and communication to employees and managers concerning hr policy
* Maintains personnel/confidential files for employees
* Responsible for creating and communicating management information
* Initiate, control, execute and check/implement various projects concerning compensation & benefits and other assigned duties within HR Services
* Deliver project support when required on HR and cross functional projects
* Coordinate and execute personnel administration for dedicated accounts.
Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in Payroll and Administration
* Specfic payroll education is an advantage
* Experience with SAP is an advantage
* Well organized with excellent planning skills.
* Service oriented
* Very accurate and precise.
